📍 What you missed in March & April
Great career advice + opportunities for you to test new virtual products & communities
I’ll be sending a brief recap at the end of every month to feature my top articles, some of the most interesting resources I’ve come across on the web, and also what I’m currently working on.
First, thank you for reading, sharing, and engaging with my newsletter.
I started Musings & Perspectives in March as a personal project to document my learning across the themes of growth, performance, and productivity. A month later, I’ve somehow hit 500 subscribers.
🙏 I’m extremely appreciative of you all.
Your input — comments, feedback, praise, criticism, ideas — has shaped this newsletter over the past few weeks. I like to think of this newsletter as a reflection of its readers.
I usually write on weekday evenings and weekends, and although it’s been a grind, it’s also been a huge source of joy for me. I look forward to the next few months, and seeing where Musings & Perspectives takes us.
My ask:
If you enjoy reading my newsletter, I’d love for you to share it with a friend. I depend purely on word-of-mouth and referrals, so it’d mean a lot to me if you forwarded or shared on your socials 🙂
To the newer folks: I’m incredibly passionate about community and like to think I know most of my subscribers. If we haven’t connected before, please feel to respond with a brief introduction — I’d love to get you know you.
Before I begin, a quick shoutout to Anangsha’s newsletter – Be Your Best Friend with Anangsha.
Anangsha shares weekly tips on creativity, productivity, book recommendations, and self-improvement. If you're interested in being the best version of yourself one step at a time, join 1000+ readers and subscribe!

🙋🏼♂️ What I’m working on
Experimenting with the future of virtual events, meetings, and collaboration.
There’s a virtual event platform – nowhere, with the slogan: “the future of online gathering”. It’s a digital Metaverse where you can run meetings, networking events, and concerts.
I’ve got early access to this platform and am thinking about running a small event. If you’d like to participate, respond to this email or give me a shout. I only have 24 spots.
Building online communities.
After my last article on connecting with people, I received a ton of interest on participating in high-performer communities. I’m currently in the process of scoping out what this would look like — the idea is that we have a space to meet new people, share ideas, and participate in side projects. Respond if you’re interested!
📚 Other stuff
I’m currently reading “Things a Little Bird Told Me: Confessions of the Creative Mind” — a book on Biz Stone’s journey of co-founding Twitter with Jack Dorsey.
Listening to Naval Ravikant’s podcasts with Tim Ferriss — this might be the wisest man in the world.
NEW YORKERS who love electronic music (house, techno, etc.) — I’ve created a community (we’re currently 42 peeps) for us to share and attend events together in the summer. DM if interested.
Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!
